Shaping the Future F&B Experience - Eindhoven Airport

F&B Masterplanning
Eindhoven Airport
Netherlands
2026
Designing a future-proof F&B portfolio for Eindhoven Airport and its next generation terminal.
Eindhoven Airport is preparing for a major terminal expansion, scheduled for completion in July 2027. The development will create more space and comfort while strengthening the overall passenger experience. As part of this transformation, Eindhoven Airport wanted to rethink how Food & Beverage could evolve alongside the terminal, ensuring the offer would be commercially strong, relevant to future passenger needs and connected to the identity of Eindhoven.
Following a Value for Money assessment, Conceptional was entrusted with the F&B Masterplanning for the existing airport and future terminal extension. The ambition was clear: create an F&B portfolio that is future-proof, commercially balanced and meaningful to the passenger journey. Conceptional assessed the current portfolio performance, future terminal layout, passenger flows and dwell times, while bringing in market trends and evolving consumer expectations. These insights were translated into a forward-looking F&B masterplan, defining the right mix, positioning and role of F&B across the future airport experience.
The resulting strategy strengthens the sense of place, responds to key passenger groups and balances international brands with Eindhoven's local character. At the same time, it establishes a clear value proposition across the F&B offer, helping Eindhoven Airport turn its future expansion into a stronger and more distinctive passenger experience. With the terminal expansion taking shape, F&B becomes an integral part of Eindhoven Airport's next chapter: not simply an amenity, but a strategic component of the airport experience.
