Efteling – F&B Organisation

De Efteling is one of Europe’s most iconic theme parks, combining magical storytelling with exceptional hospitality experiences. Its extensive F&B operation covers both the park’s restaurants and cafés, as well as its hotels and holiday village. To elevate guest experience and strengthen operational performance, De Efteling commissioned Conceptional to conduct a comprehensive Quick Scan of its entire F&B organisation, across both accommodation and theme park operations. Following the assessment, Conceptional and De Efteling jointly developed a clear vision and strategic action plan aimed at achieving outstanding service and operational excellence throughout all F&B areas.

The new strategy enhances management and control through improved operational metrics, dashboards, and optimised platforms and systems, ensuring better performance monitoring and smoother operations. Equally, the project placed a strong focus on organisational culture and team development, reinforcing Efteling’s ability to deliver memorable guest experiences while achieving operational excellence across its F&B portfolio.
