De Jaarbeurs – The Netherlands
The Jaarbeurs is the place for inspiration, motivation, activity and facilitating valuable meetings by connecting people, markets, dealers and producers. Conceptional has been asked to create a food court where people can eat, drink and meet. Speys eten & drinken is a fast, casual food court – a place with the vibrant colours of five food stations, open show-kitchens and their canopies. This creative process of dealing with peak (lunch) times during events at the Jaarbeurs and stimulating evening hours in cooperation with cinema Kinepolis opens our vision about the set-up of the different food stations. The concept foundation is based on the history of Jaarbeurs and looks back at its origin of trading spices and ingredients. Speys eten & drinken contains of different food stations, each with their own specialty: Koffie & Graan, Hop, Rund, Basilicum and Olie & Azijn (Coffee & Grain, Hop, Beef, Basil, Oil & Vinegar)
